FREETIME & 

PREPARATION FOR CULTURE PERFORMANCE

I don’t know what I should report because I didn’t do anything much. I just went to restaurant for breakfast with my roommate. It’s pretty cheap and good taste.  

Baitoey, she is my roommate.

In afternoon, my friend and I were preparing ourselves for culture performance. Both of us practice Thai flute (it’s called Krooy ขลุ่ย in Thai).

SATURDAY FREETIME

I woke up at 8 am that’s sound good. After that, we had lunch with buddies. I was shock about food menu, it’s so long.  In evening, we went to Jogja city mall Yogyakarta for shopping. I didn't do anything much on my weekend, just eat and eat and eat. Last, friends and I order some food to eat in dormitory. No food No life, right?

OBSERVATION AND PREPARATION

I had to be at school before 07:00 a.m. The classes here start at seven in the morning. We were wearing Batic clothes. We really like it because it’s so comfortable to wear. I got my teaching scandal. I undertake to teach three degrees (grade 4, 5 and 6). And this is my scandal to teach. That’s so many classes!!

After lunch, we went to IP building to meet our host and take a photo for student card.

Finally, it’s time to move dormitory. Buddies help us to go their. Welcome to my new room

After that, we went to shopping mall. I really like it because I want to buy English novel book but I failed again. (Indonesia book stone have no English novel L so sad) Some of us went to game center, buy something but I went to Ramen restaurant. I know that sound crazy to eat Japan food in Indonesia, but I can’t stop eating. After that, I joined with other friends to sing karaoke. I don’t know why I was here but I enjoy it.

[DAY2]

OBSERVATION AND PREPARATION

It’s time to observation and preparation for teaching. In the morning, we were arriving at SD Muhummadiyah Paken on 7:00 AM. The first class strand at 7:15 AM. 

Today, we have two classes to observe. Teacher usually lets students do their work in pair. Most of them enjoy the class and play at the same time. Friends and I were sitting back of classroom for observation. I think, it’s pretty good class for learning, let students practice by themselves.

This is a note that two students gave me and Fah. That’s so adorable! They were giving me note and two pens. I say Terimagasi (Thank you) a lots. 

After that, we went to dorm. We have a diner at the restaurant near UII. Next, I went to Tom’s milk and ordered blue Haii (I was super expected but I failed)

OBSERVATION AND PREPARATION

It’s time to observation and preparation for teaching. In the morning, we were arriving at SD Muhummadiyah Paken on 8 AM. All of us discuss with teacher, the topic of discussion is about how to create lesson plan, present the schedule for observation.

After that, the class was starting at 9:00 AM. My First observation class is grade 4 section 2 (4B). Students are so shy and welcome me and friends. Miss Dra ria, our

Observation time

I saw many things that different from Thailand. Specially, the way teacher and students do in the class.

Example:

-         Students play and talk all the time but they do their work

-         Students can walk around the classroom

-         Students take their time to study and play at the same time (some of them have done their work and go somewhere to play)

-         Teacher doesn’t use stick

-         They play and talk when they finished the work

Next, we went to restaurant to have a lunch. There are many interesting meals but I have it already. So, I ordered some drink only.

After enjoyed the meals, we went to mini mart for shopping something. After that, it’s our free time.
