IT’S
RAFTING TIME
Finally, weekend trips
is coming!! First time I known that on Saturday, we will go a trip to Elo
River for going rafting. I was wondering what’s gonna happen with me.
Because I can’t swim (everyone know that) and I fear with everything.
We are leaving from dormitory
about 7 AM. We arrived at Prambanan resort around 8:30 am. This place is so beautiful and elegant. After that, we took
a car to go closer at water fall. I can’t take a picture or record some video
because we have no enough time to do that. I feel excited and pretty lose
self-confidence. I play attention with what buddies tell. Surprisingly, I forgot
everything when I aboard the boat. It’s really fun and amazing. I laugh and scream
with friends. Some of them teased each other and make something crazy like…drop
another friends and hit their boat. I will never forget
that Raffi (buddy) he drop me and my friends down under the water. That moment,
I feel like… I almost die.We took over 2 hours with it. We all are so tired and hungry.
We are survivor.

TODAY,
I HAVE NO CLASS
Today, I have no class
that make me feel relax and joyful. I just help my friend to teach and control
the class. I think, he is very nice teacher and most of students love him.
Before we take a break, student give me some soft cake, I don't know what is it called but... it's so good. And they teach me vocabulary in Bahasa

After that, we joined in mentor’s class. I help her to
descript and control the class. Our mentor order us to write some note in every
class. We have to note what we do in the class, what students do and what they
learn from teacher.
After school, my
friends and I, we went to shopping mall for buy some foods and fruits, and then
I saw something. It’s my first time to see water melon like this!! Wow! Why it
so long?

Independence
Day
My school is close today because it’s Independence Day of
Indonesia. I saw many Indonesia flag around the city. Specially, many restaurant
and shop are also sale. That why I didn’t go or do anything much. I just take
my time to prepare lesson plan for next week and I try to keep my mind because
I feel sick.
I hope I’ll be better soon.
National
Flag of Indonesia
The national flag of Indonesia is called 'Sang Saka
Merah-Putih' (the sacred red and white) and was unveiled on August 17, 1945.
The design is derived from the banner of Majapahit Empire in
East Java which ruled in the region before the arrival of the Dutch.
The flag consists two equal horizontal stripes; the top red

About 07.05am, we arrived at school and went directly to the teacher
office. The class starts at 07.15 am. Friend and I had breakfast with our
mentor.

It’s time to teach
The first class, I
teach about clothes in unit4. There are two main learning objectives such as students
are able to pronounce vocabulary of clothes correctly, students are able to
tell the meaning of words in the vocabulary of clothes correctly and students
are able to write words in the vocabulary of clothes correctly.
After the class, I think students can remember and
pronounce the words correctly. They enjoyed with my game and exercise. For example,
Teacher assigns students to work in pair, two students read dialog in front of
the class.
Lunch
time
Our dinner, friends and I went to Thai restaurant (SONGKLA). I
feel excited to see Thai food here. It’s pretty good but…. I like food from Thailand more ><

MY
HARDEST DAY
Every day, we woke up
early and went to school. I am very excited to have teaching classes. I was
preparing myself last night for teaching in the morning at 7:25 AM. I was
exhausted but I will do my best. Today, I have 3 classes to teach that’s so
many classes.

The first class, I

Expected result: Ability
to pronounce and tell the meaning of words in the vocabulary of clothes.
I thought, sometimes I
can’t control the class because my voice is not loud enough and students play a
lot. Students repeat and pronounce after me correctly.
Grade: 6 section 3 (6C)
Time: 105 mins (Full
time)
The second class, I
teach about clothes in unit5. There are three main learning objectives such as students
are able to pronounce vocabulary of clothes correctly, students are able to
tell the meaning of words in the vocabulary of clothes correctly and students
are able to ask and answer about clothes correctly.
Expected result: Ability
to pronounce, tell the meaning of words in the vocabulary of clothes and tell
about clothes.
After the class, I
think I love this class so much because they are so enthusiastic.
It’s easy to control because there are 12 students in the class. I told them to
sit like a circle. They enjoy, concentrate and smile a lot because I gave
them candy if they answer the questions correctly.

The last class, I teach

After the class, I
think I can’t follow my lesson plan because time is too short. Students enjoy
the class. They are super active learner. And specially, they love my game. After finish the class,
it’s my long working time. I went to dormitory and enjoy my free time (with bad).

PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
Before talking about Prambanan
temple, I have something to vent. In the morning, someone told us the car is
already, are you ready? My friends saw the message, he knocked my door and said
“the car is already, we have to go now!” We are in traditional clothes
and make up our face already for perform. When we arrived at UII, we got a bad
new.
The scandal is wrong.
The performance is rescheduled for our farewell party… before everyone is
leaving. OhMyGodddd
It’s our misunderstand so, I have to accept that. I’m like TT
Okay, let’s talk about our
trip. After that, we went to Prambanan temple with our buddies. We all excited
to be here. Many people came and the weather is so hot and dry.
*Prambanan temple is
the largest Hindu temple site in Indonesia, and one of the biggest in Southeast
Asia.
The ticket for
foreigner is so expensive. I can’t remember about ticket but I remember that
our buddies told us like “Don’t say anything in English or Thai, speak Bahasa
only!” So, I think it’s our strategy to pay cheaper. Haha
In evening, we went to
Japan restaurant for diner. I met my ex-friend (Rameng) again. I’m so happy to
be here!
